Visa to Azerbaijan

No visa is required for citizens of Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Visa on arrival is available for citizens of Turkey, Israel, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Japan,

China, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Additionally, those passengers taking a direct flight from

New York to Baku operated by Azerbaijan Airlines will also be getting a visa upon arrival at Baku

Airport.

Nationalities other than those listed above should arrange their visas in advance. Generally this will mean either visiting an Azerbaijani embassy/consulate/visa service or organizing an easy e-visa through a travel agency.

Please contact with Pasha Travel if you need any special guidance to get your visa. You can send Pasha Travel the list of the required documents by email or use their E-visa online system by visiting the below page:

In order to facilitate getting your visa, please download your customized Letter of Invitation and Letter of Support for the Baku Conference signed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Azerbaijan.

Airport Transfer

The good option to reach your destination from the airport is to take a so called 'London cabs' (unlike in London these taxis are of purple color).  You can call them using 189 taxi services, or just jump in one parked at your Terminal exit. Expect to pay around 20-30 AZN (roughly, 15$ USD).

Another option would be to take a BakuBus express bus service from/to Baku airport to/from the city center (28 May tube station). Modern comfortable Iveco buses run from 06:00 to 00:00 every 30 minutes. To take a bus a traveler needs to proceed to the bus station at the Terminal exit. The cost of the ride makes 1 AZN (less than 1 $ USD).
